Default Rattle Sound

I have a 2000 dodge neon that makes a rattle noise from the driver side whenever i go over uneven pavement. The sound goes away when I push the brakes. I have replaced the brakes and rotors and just had the control arm bushing on that side replaced. Anybody have any ideas what it could be?

could very well be the pads chattering . something is loose it seems , i would shake down the front end , check the wheels for lateral and axial play. so hard to diagnose over the web. just keep looking till you find something loose or worn out. sometimes it takes a while to pinpoint a noise , when u think u have checked everything , recheck again

I'm just about to give up I can't find anything other than the caliper is able to be moved just slightly. Is there a way that it can be tightened?

they move a tiny bit , its normal. you can try to tighten it , it has 2 attaching bolts , 10 or 12 mm .

Are you sure the sway bar bushings/possibly end links are actually good; not just "look" good?
