Default Replace or flush coolant?

I have Neon 2005. It need replace or flush coolant. Is it good enough if I only loose drain fitting and let coolant drain out? Don't flush coolant completely. Is it Ok? It look like flushing is complicated.

Flushing isn't that complicated. Once you drain the coolant, you simply leave the drain valve open, turn the car on and the heater to high, and stick your hose with running water into the radiator opening and let it run for about 5-10 minutes. Turn the car and hose off, let that water all drain out, close the valve and refill the radiator. Done.

Thank you, darthroush, for replying. My car is in public parking lot and I can't get running water. That's why I say flushing is complicated.

In that case: go pick up a few of those 2.5 gallon jugs of distilled water. Drain the coolant, close the drain valve and then fill it up with the distilled water and run the engine and heater. Then continue on from there.

Thanks for replying.
From outside coolant reservoir, coolant's color still is red.

I'm taking it the Dodge coolant is red? Horrible color especially when the red transmission fluid can mix with it. IMO, flush it and fill it with regular green G05 coolant.

I can try to flush it. But I really want to know how bad if I only replace coolant in radiator?

You'll still have dirty, old coolant everywhere else. Your car, your call. IMO, spend the extra 10 minutes and do it right.
