Default Motor Mounts

Ok, so both my lower and upper motor mounts are cracked all to hell (the rubber parts, anyway) and I'm looking to replace them both. Are there tranny mounts as well? I want to do all the mounts related to the motor and transmission. What parts?

Also, I was thinking of doing motor mounts inserts as well. Will they harshen the ride? What are the negative effects, if any to using aftermarket inserts?

Don't forget about the 3rd motor mount on the passenger side of the engine about halfway down.

The two torque struts can be replaced with any aftermarket brand. I recommend ponying up the extra cash and getting an OEM engine mount as they are fluid-filled, while aftermarket ones are not. There is also one transmission mount; same deal as the torque struts.

By OEM, you mean these? They look exactly like my current ones. I want them to last, and to be a drastic improvement from the current pair.

No, by OEM I mean OEM ---> Dodge/Mopar. That's a torque strut in your link though.

Default women owner trying to figure out if my mounts are bad

I have seen replies on here about motor mounts going bad. I had the lower one replaced but it is still vibrating so loud, the noise stops when in neutral, but starts again when im accelerating and when it first starts up in the morning. So there are 3 total mounts? Want to have my mechanic look at it. Also if the other mounts are bad could it also make that noise when hitting dips in the road, that seems to be the first noise it started making. I like knowing what is going on , or know what i am talking about when i go to the shop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What you are describing sounds exactly like what happens when the center motor mount (Dodge calls it the rear engine mount) is bad. I highly recommend using the Dodge mount even though it costs more than aftermarket mounts. The Dodge mount is fluid-filled, as it should be, and the aftermarket ones are not. This will cause vibrations even after it is replaced.

Tha part number for the OEM mount is: Mopar 05086709AB

Which is the one up top on the passenger side? Going to have timing belt / water pump replaced soon and would like to also replace the motor/engine mount. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow if need be.
