Fuel pumps have a 1 way check valve, if the check valve fails then pressure drains back into the tank.
I did not know that. So if the valve fails the fuel would still get pumped up to the rail? The car starts after four or five tries and idles ok. When I have to accelerate it bogs the engine down really bad. To drive it I have to accelerate very slowly.
Maybe the pump is going bad and the valve is defective.
