I need help finding a website to order parts from.
to sum it up for yall I have the catback srt 4 exhaust kit on my 2.0 has no muffler or anything just a big hi flow cat up front Im guessing? and it sounds nothing like a Honda has a deep sporty throaty sound to it , but no raspy terrible fart can noise, I like it a whole lot
I honestly am not to sure it was already on the car when I got it, but if im not mistaken it looks almost identical to the one the other guy posted maybe 2 n half or 3 in piping not to sure and to put the catback system on ur car ur either gonna have to take to shop or do it yourself but if u want it to look good have a shop cut and file 2 loop holes on ur bumper to have the exhaust fit flush instead of below the bumper, but if u trust urself with a saw saw then go for it
Is it standard or automatic?
If it's automatic, I wouldn't recommend doing naything to it because it's not going to be worth it. The automatics in our cars are terrible when it comes to horsepower and torque. Change the tranny fluid to Royal Purple Max ATF and throw a cold air intake on there and call it good.
Manual? Well then we have a few more options. Short throw shifter, shifter bushings, CAI and OCC(oil catch can), replace the transmission fluid with Royal Purple Syncromax, put a Underdrive pulley on, you could turbo it out but I would NOT recommend it on the 2.0 because it would be a waste of time and money, and putting an SRT motor into a gen 2 (2000-2002) would be a PITA because of the engine management systems are so different.
Basically, I would start out with a cold air intake, a strut bar, and if you're feeling creative, outfit your entire interior with LED bulbs. I recommend the 20smd T10 bulbs from eBay.
!!!! Get the timing belt replaced ASAP. You do not want that thing to break, you will have a very bad day if you do. !!!!
I would also Seafoam the intake with Seafoam SPRAY. The liquid, non-aerosol stuff has the potential to lock up your motor.
I know I rambled a little bit, but if I had ~$2K just laying around to spend on my car I would get it running as smoothly as possible, and then start with the aftermarket stuff.
