2nd Gen Neon 2000 - 2005 2nd Gen Neon

A little help please, My car died between an intersection today...

I read all the links, and i'm going to remove the intake housing here soon and get a better look of the connections. As far as I can see I think connections are solid and my Solenoid just took a ****.

My car never had shifting problems before this.
It stayed in what i'm assuming 2nd after it died in mid-drive.

Fixed. I replaced the Solenoid.

There are so many good answers. I suggest you buy OBD2 Tools for your car. It will save a lot of trouble for both of you and your car. I hope my answer is useful. Thanks!
