Unhappy No fuel pressure in uneven surface

Hello,

My car is a 00 neon with automatic transmission, the problem I has is that when I parked it in an uneven surface when the fill tube is up, the car has no fuel pressure and didn't start. It happens only when the fuel is at half tank. I check fuel pressure when trying to start it and it remains in 0, even after cranking it for a while. The fuel pump and regulator are new and keeps doing it. When the car is in a flat surface the Pressure goes to 40 when I hit the key at first and it starts right up. I check the fuel gauge and it is good and the fuel level is correct. I'm lost here, Can anyone help me? Thank You.

i think its the pressure regulator or the pressure pulse thing on the firewall behind the valve cover connected to the fuel rail line...

I replace the fuel filter with a new one and does the same thing. Does anyone have an idea what this could be. Thank You.

This is too weird.
I think it just happened you got no fuel pressure when you parked on uneven surface.
You have to check that again.

I took the gas tank out and put it in the same angle when the car has no pressure and remove the module and the strainer is supposed to be getting fuel, this is with the fuel gauge between half and a quarter of gasoline. It is possible that when the car is at this angle the fuel pump is not getting enough fuel from the strainer? Its driving me nuts because it only does it when park in an angle when the fill tube is up and the other side is down. When it is straight works normal and start right up. Any solutions for this problem? Is there anything I can do so the fuel pump can get fuel from the other side of the tank when in a uneven surface?

seems to me that something is tweaked/bent a lil off, was this stock or a replacement unit?

It is a replacement unit, what I don't understand is if the fuel gauge is working at the moment, why there is no fuel pressure, because I can hear the pump working but no fuel pressure in the fuel rail. Also is there normal that when the car is not used for a few hours it has no fuel pressure in the rail?

The car should hold fuel pressure for more than a few hours.. it could indicate that it is leaking down.

I'm not 100 percent familiar on how these fuel tanks are designed but the pump should be able to pick up fuel, unless you actually have less gas than you think due to a bent sending unit.

Or perhaps here is a trough that the pump is supposed to sit it that holds extra fuel?

Can it be a fuel injector(s) leaking since everytime I turn off the car I can hear a low pop noise out of the throttle body?

Injectors don't make pop noises.
They opened/closed by magnets. They usually make the tick noises like any other magnet devices.
I don't think the noise is louder from the throttle body.
