Default Oil filter wrench size

I need the right tool for the job.
Anyone know what size will fit snug into the engine oil filter of a Dodge Neon?

They say what filters they fit on the back of the packaging. Just match it up.

I will look what size it is on the package.
I wish I know now.

-------------------

How many millimeters is size A?
I'm talking about the oil filter wrench/cup. It is use to open/tighten the oil filter, or oil filter housing.
You can tighten it up by hand, but it is not secure enough.
I use a 64mm x 14 flutes for our Toyota Camry.

Thank you both of you.

How so? You are only supposed to tighten oil filters by hand, on every car.

I don't know. I just want it to be tight.
It will make the job easier too. That is why they made it.

They are made to easily remove the filter. They are not meant for tightening the filter.

go easy on it man, you'll crack the oil filter bolt if not the soft cast housing. I replaced my oil pump this summer and the filter unit is not made for much stressing. I've never had an oil filter blow even with a 100psi of oil pressure on my boat motor. Hand tights all ya need

Okay, I will just hand tight it.
I guess the oil filter wrench only make the job easier then.
It's hard to get to the oil filter on some cars.

-You can tighten by hand to the correct amount by wearing a glove with a rubber coated palm. Remember to lightly oil the filter gasket before putting the filter on, then spin the filter on until you feel resistance from the gasket mating against the engine block. From there, just tighten 3/4 to 1 full turn. That's all you need to do.

Matt
