Default iac stuck

i have a 2000 i was cleaning my idle air control valve the needle was out then i dropped it the needle got pushed in and wont come out i put it back the engine revs up to 3000 rpms and im pulling 3 codes p1684,p0123 &p1193 so is there a way to free theneedle or is it a paper weight tschay

Probably not a cheap one.

Question

so i went to a junk yard got an iac valve it is the same part except the numbers on the part mine is 04861000AD the one from the yard is 04861000 does anyone know what the AD means and will it work thanx tschay

No clue, was it off a 2nd gen Neon?

Looking up both of those part numbers online shows me an IAC that doesn't go on a 2nd Gen Neon. This is a non-illustrated part, but the price and description match the correct part: 05014116AA is what I get for the correct IACV.

i was on my way to work this morning the car is reving between 3000 and 1000. so i drove it home drives fine as long as it is above 3000 rpm's do u think the iac is the problem. it drove fine for a little while so don't forget it is an iac from a junk yard the same size engine it was a dodge a different throttle body probly a gen. 1 idon't know i have never seen a gen. 1 thanx tschay PS i got a code P1299

Probably.. I believe P1299 translates to "vacuum leak detected" for Chrysler. A stuck open IAC would cause that.
