Default I bought MOOG sway bar bracket bushings

Hello agian my friends, I forgot my password. anywhozers, I bought the 20mm bushings at O'rielly's. They also had 22mm. I went with 20( hopefully thats correct) Question: Do I grease the inside of the bushing and the outside too?

Yes. Don't be shy with the grease either.

well i broke one of the bolts heads off and stoped. going to take it to a shop to be welded on ( the braket) or have them take out the old bolt and put a new one in and not replace the bushings.. I'm pissed off. we'll see 2morrow. I can't sleep. dammit!!

Must live back East? Not an uncommon situation at all. I certainly wouldn't weld-on the bracket though.

hey bud, I went to my local shop in town ( I know Jene Karns ). He dilled out 2 of the 4 studs that broke and gave me 2 new bolts. Two bolts came out fine with penatrating spray. We went to put in the new 20mm bushings and they were to small. So he buttend me up snug and sprayed me down ( the bolts) and I went to Oriell's and exchanged them for the 22mm. Then I got home and got out the jacks n stuffs n started working on it. Greased the ****z outa them. So I'm all good now. Thanks Darth for puttin up with me... I just hate broken bolts!!!! There my peeve.

One of the few joys left of living in the PRK: no rust on cars. Glad you got it all worked out. Did you put anti-seize on the new sway bar bolts? If not, now is and will be much better than later

Don't worry Frank, I broke all 4 bolts on mine when I did it.

Drill and tap and a few hours later they were in.

It wouldn't hurt to put some anti-seize on there. I usually don't use it because I tend to forget about it.
