Default Intake Manifold

hey guys, im looking to get the air restriction right out of my neon, so what i wanna do is get a Intake manifold (throttle body will come sooner or later) i saw the indy one for about 500 bux on modern performance is there another company that makes this kinda of stuff for the neon, its a 2005, soo....i dunno help me out here somebody, 500! thats alot, thats my how much my camshaft costs (expensive hobby LOL)

i am also looking for a new intake manifold...... mine got messed up when i installed my throttle body and i want another one but its either 500 from MP or 150 from the dealership. Any ideas?

well u can pay 500 for the aftermarket one or 150 for the sucky stock plastic one, should there be any question? nah do what ya want but if u want better airflow pay the price...

Or you can try and find a used Magnum intake manifold...but thats easier said then done...so go for the indy manifold, they're supposed to have good quality and nice performance gains.

How did you install the throttle body wrong? What throttle body was it? I'll be getting my MPx 60 this week and would love any usful info. Thanks

Yeah; that's very expensive. I'm thinking very hard about doing the Indy next also. I did see another place with intake manifolds but the price was TBA. I'm going to look for the website when I get the chance. Finding an RT's intake manifold is a challenge.

Hmm, I've heard that the indy manifold has fitment issues...
The Jury's still out on what manifold I want, dangit.

I've contacted the other people I was talking about and they said that Crysler never released that particular intake manifold. Their website says TBA b/c they have been trying to get Crysler to come out with it for years. The Magnum and Indy are the only two options for an intake manifold on a Neon unless you customize one. I just hate how expensive the Indy is.[&:]
