Default New to Neon

I just recently bought my wife a new SUV so I have started driving her orange 2005 Neon SXT. Just to plain for me after driving a 300c.

However, it is a nice car and in great shape so I would like to fix it up a bit. I have seen some graphic kits and other items however, would really like to fill in those fake vents in the front bumper with some fog lamps.

Is there a kit out there that fills the entire area like on the front of the SRT4?

Thanks, and any other suggestions would be great. Not really interested in doing any real engine mods, since I finally have a car that does not suck the gas out of the tank as soon as you start it like my Hemi did.

Default Hello

Just recently took over driving my wife's 2005 Dodge Neon SXT. Previous car was a 2005 Chrysler 300C. It got up to 250,000 miles, so it was time to retire it.

This is a big change however from the Hemi. haha

Just looking for ideas to fix it up and make it a little more stylish. It is just plain orange, and a lot of orange! haha

Depending on how much money you want to spend, you have different options like; full body kits, obtaining just the front bumper fender (either used or new) which includes factory foglights or just making your own installation on your so called vents. So its basically your call. I have a blaze red 04 sxt neon and changed the front bumper to a foglight bumper. I got mines from the wreckyard, only thing is its black and never colored it. I also have the front and rear lip kit,( it matched the blaze red) they used to sell those and I wouldn't know if they still do. Good luck in the direction you want to go.

Some of the vinyl body wraps do the trick vs. re-painting

As for the lights I went with some bar style led units wired them into the side marker lights... cheap fix filled the hole nicely. If you can get black ones instead of chrome you might light it better
