Default Need some help!

Ive tried everything to get this underdrive pulley off. Got two different 3 jaw pullers nothing seems to want to take it off so i can change it to my racing one. Anyone have any ideas?

have you soaked it in pb penetrating oil? Make SURE to NOT get any on the rubber portion of the balancer... I always use the small 3 jaw puller, mine comes off fairly easy. Give if a few squirts of pb and wait an hour or two or over night if you got the time/patience

I didn't try that. I used the 3 jaw puller and the bolt went down as far as it could seemed like it was coming off I even tried to tug on it a little but didnt move at all.

I took my crank pulley off with a 3 jaw and impact gun before.

So spray it inside the bolt hole or on the back side? Does it usually take you to screw the whole bolt down in the puller for it to come off?

I spray in the bolt hole, put the bolt back in finger tight, it will seep overnight around the outer portions of the crank & balancer, you wont be able to get any on the back side of the balancer... it takes time but will free it up unless your balancer is rusted on but I bet its justt he 1st time to ever come off is all. I use the smallest 3 jaw, but I keep the assembly of it loose so I can make it grasp the balancer better. Does it grip good at all? Might have to file on the jaw teeth some. I'm using some cheap crap puller from autozone, but it's a new one that's not had much stretching on it yet. Wish you were close by

Alright I'm going to try that and see if it works. I got the puller from autozone as a rental and the jaws would lock on but once I got tighter one of them would start to slip off but I'm positive that it moved bc I got pissed then put it all back together and when I was putting the screw back in I noticed that it seemed to be almost off I tugged on it a little but nothing happened. & yeah I know I could use some help from someone who actually knows something about neons

lol we all know about neons... ya its gonna slip till you get the jaws just right but then they fit an grab and pulls right off. I think there might be one of the arms flip flopped or they all the same size?

Of course we do it's the forum lol & yeah all of the jaws were the same sizes. Maybe they were just slipping off of the lip of the pulley. But I think I'm just going to try one more time if it doesn't work then it's going to a shop And having them do it
