Default 05 neon 2.0L SOHC diesel turbo

Just picked up a HX35w diesel turbo off of a Cummins 5.9L for $50 couldn't turn it down. Thinking about adapting it for my 2005 dodge neon sxt sohc 2.0l it's a T3. I was have been researching alot about using a diesel turbo on a gasoline engine but, not too much out there about it. I found a good amount of people using them on small block 350s but most are using the hx40 and the 7.3 diesel turbos. I was wanting to get some feedback, the only 2 things I am worried about are if the turbo can handle the heat since the diesel turbos are designed for lower heat and rpm and if my engine can handle the the turbo, pressure and strain, I know the diesel turbos are meant for lower rpm or peak performance at lower rpm around 3k and less I figured it would be a decent project or berry fitment for me because the car shifts around 2500-3k rpm and never had my car over 4500 rpm the hx35 is supposed to be capable of 550hp ishh but not looking for tthat much gain I would be happy with 65-100hp ishh
All feedback is very appreciated.

What turbo are you planning on using? You can order one of those programmers for use on turbos and supercharger I could be wrong but I also think they work on diesel turbo but not %100 sure also are you going to use a waste gate

Whatever comes stock only plan on running 8 psi so I don't have to do internals and just do head bolts
