The rule is if any mods that you did cause something to break or fail then it voids the warenty for that part. In the real world you will have a fight with the dealer.

So far with my 04 sxt I put on a srt4 exhaust and had her at dealer like casper said but Im a risk taker . I reached my warrenty limit now Im into my extended warrenty. I have had the exhaust on for about 6 months now and no problem at all.

The dealer doesn't care about my mods, although I haven't done anything major....YET. Whenever I've pulled into the service garage whoever drives it out of there ALWAYS revs it up. Either because they don't know how to drive stick very well or they want to hear the exhaust. One day I should bitch at them for beating on my car.

Reading My 04's manual before doing any mods on mine... the main and practically only restriction is anything that messes with the Odometer. Thats really all thats outlined. Aside from the odometer is any damages fron "Improperly installed modifications."
