Questions about the Jet 90408 Series Chip
Hi there, I just had a few questions about the difference between the Jet 90408 chip and the 90408S.
The S seems more my style, but I havent modified my exhaust yet, however I'm considering buying and installing this catback. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...merican&id=357
I'll have a K&N Typhoon installed shortly for added air intake, and I suppose I'll also have to get a 180degree thermo.
Basically I was just wondering which of these is right for me and in which situations. The S seems to be a much better chip performance wise, which is what i'm going for, but I also don't want to get a chip that will mess my car up because I haven't modded it right yet.

great exhaust system i just got mine installed about 10 days ago and i am very satisfied. it is a dual magnaflow. now i can hear my car when i drive and so can everyone else. it is very nice, although sorry to say but i dont know about your chip, i'll try to find something. your choice in exhaust is nice though!

alrite so i found a site for you. here it is http://www.autoanything.com/category...formance_chips . apparently there was only one for my car because it is a 2001 but it sounded pretty good. if you want to see for your car then just click on the change vehicle icon and switch the year. it's nice and it isnt as expensive as i thought it would be. and there are no modifications needed. and you can install it very easily yourself. hey i might just get that too. sounds like everything you are looking for. good luck and hope that helps. lata

Alright, so, PCM = No? I've seen ECU programs before, and I really would like to have that much control over my engine, however, after looking around the net for a short bit, I don't see any ECUs for 05 Neons, and... well I really have no clue where to look! =(

Guys, make sure your talking about the same thing here. The 95-02 Jet reprogrammings were crap. The 03-05 Jet CHips are somethign different. We have been getting nothing but posative feedback on them.
