I have a 05 neon sxt and in the last month i have installed a magnaflow cat back exhaust system which sounded nice then i threw in a aem typhoon intake and a throttle body from MP. i also put lexus style taillights on there. My future updates are a skyline R34 body kit and rims then ill be done for a while. pics coming soon..

 

Sounds good. Lexus tail lights though, were they custom fit?

 

yeah they are lexus "style" and i also forgot i also installed a b&m short shifter

 

NICE! the R34 is also a nice touch for a body kit. I liked the touch it added. But i was thinking of using different side skirts. The ones on the R34 didnt seem to compliment the front and rear kits. I was thinking of using this bad boy (pic here) as it looked pretty cool. Anyways, good luck in your venture. Sounds like you are well on your way man! I have seen those lexus style lamps on e-bay. Look fairly nice. I didn't like the look too much to put it on my car. Then again, Im still planing mine out. Give us some pics!

 

A quick question about body kits though. I've been told that since they are fiberglass, the colors won't match up with your car color.
Is this true? I'm not repainting my entire car... I love my car color, and hope the bodykit will match up.

 

not true at ALL! the spoiler (srt-4 highrise) is fiberglass. check my photo gallery for pictures. Couldnt even tell i put it on there after i bought the car. Its about what PAINT you get. You have to get the exact same paint as the factory color or else it wont match up at all.

Who ever fed you that bologny needs to re-think what they know about paint and cars. It might take some time to figure out the paint code, but if you look on your car you'll find it. Like i said before, just make sure its the exact same paint color or it wont match up.

P.S. it will seem flat till that clear coat gets on there. Then it will pop out and go with the car just fine.
