I'm sold on getting srt-4 17in rims for my 04sxt. Is it true that to fit the srt-4 tire sizes, all I have to do is put in the srt-4 springs and struts? Or do I need to make more modifications? I don't like the skinny tires on the srt-4 rims. I want some meat on them without rubbing the struts.

You're gonna want different tires. Unless you want to swap suspenion. Well depending on what model neon you have..it might be slightly different. Just using my stock tires for example....185/60/15. The SRT4 stock tires are 205/50/17s. If you don't change the tires and just try to bolt them up it would be 1.4 inches taller then your stock tires. That will almost guarantee that you will have fitment issues, plus its going to throw your speed off and mileage. You could also just get different tires for your car. That would be easier.
Hopefully that helps a bit.....

a lot of the SRT-4 guys complain about traction issues with the stock tires. One of the first things they do is go out and buy a wider tire, which will give them some better traction. Instead of getting a tire/rim combo that suits the SRT-4, why not get one that is made for the Neon? Granted, they are near the same, but you can already see that there are going to be some issues. Go to www.tirerack.com to pick out some nice rims/tires for your car. You can always go into a brick and mortar shop to talk to a real person about what's going to fit and what isn't. Changing your tire size would require that you take your car in anyways to fix the car's computer to read the proper mileage anyways, so they'll probably tell you if your new tires will fit your car or not. The tire rack will give you a pretty good idea of where to start, from there, minor changes like spacers is all you need to worry about.

the wheels will fit with your stock suspension
some useless info
if you only put srt springs on your car without srt strut it will lower your car about an inch- cheopo lowering springs
and srt struts will raise your car since the srt whieght is more and the perch is 3/4 higher
