Default how much boost?
ok how much boost do u guys think i can run if i get a turbo kit for my 04 SXT with no internal engine work before i blow myself up

Well a Magnum engine can run up to 12PSI of boost on stock internals but from what I've heard from other turbo neon owners they usually run 8-10psi of boost.

Well a Magnum engine can run up to 12PSI of boost on stock internals but from what I've heard from other turbo neon owners they usually run 8-10psi of boost.
However without that internal work your not long for your car.

when i went and got a quote on the chill factory kit a while back i asked the guys at the shop and they said 8 lbs safely...

what are some good turbo kits gor the 2.0 non magnum engine that will push like about 8 psi?

Hahns and Chill Factor will work for non-magnum 2.0, as will a SRT-4 turbo with the DOHC to SOHC adaptor, as for how much boost you'll be able to run i have no idea...
