Default Going Turbo finally!

Im debating if I should go with a stock srt4 turbo or find a stage 3 turbo whole front clip . I want to be about 300 to 350 for horse power . I would need to change my auto to a 5 speed. I want to build my own turbo instead of buying a srt4. More fun to build your own and be a sleeper than getting a srt4. Cheaper also.

yeah for sure, it is alot of money for an SRT...insurence is the real killer on one...but it is alot of fun working on them seeing they are easy to work on!!!it is a great hobby and alot of fun and you can learn alot by working on one. sleeper is the way to go, all these people that have been doing the srt 4 front conversion i think are screwing up, if you are not an srt do not try to be one, go for the sleeper look that is the way to go!!! and that is what i am doing just so when you smoke a car they have to tell there friend that they got killed by a NEON!!! it is alot of fun to here about people that i have beat come into the place i work and say is the the really fast neon out in the parking lot? there is nothing like it GO FOR IT!!!!!

Yeah your gonna be spending a lot of money to build up your engine if you plan on running that much boost...after the turbo, fuel system, building the engine up...damn thats gonna be a very large credit card bill at the end of the month!

I wanna know how you are planning on running 300-350HP and only spend $2000. There is no way, you are gonna spend upwards of $10,000 by the time you are done, unless you only want to run the car down the 1/4 once and go boom!!!!!!!!!!

Remember she has a turbo 1st gen and also had an SRT4 for a few weeks. I'm sure she has a hookup or knows what she's doing.....
