Indy Intake Manifold or Magnum Cylinder head

Indy Intake Manifold or Magnum Cylinder head
I'm really close to buying the Indy intake manifold but then I saw a place that has the Magnum Cylinder head brand new that comes from the 01-03' Neon ACR and R/T. Since I'm about to have someone install my Cam 12, valve springs, Fidanza cam gear, would it be better for me to get the cylinder head or Indy as far as a hp increase and overall performance increaase?
>Will the Magnum cylinder head fit my SOHC 2000 Dodge Neon ES?
>Will I have to make any modifications to it?
>How is the Magnum cylinder head better?
>Does it just flow better, is it made out of a better material?
Thanks.

I'm sorry I misunderstood you. I thought you were comparing the INDY and the R/T intake manifold. Now I see your are comparing HP gains from an INDY intake manifold to an R/T cylinder head...by bad.
Anyone have a before and after dyno of the INDY on a 2nd gen?

if you have ever seen a mopar now magazine, i have one that has an article on the intake manifold, as well as step by step instructions on how to install it. it also shows dyno pulls from before and after...the car they tested it on had an a/fx pcm, a/fx header, better cams, and a few other goodies, that they dont explain...the gain was about 26 h.p. at the wheels...the more you have done to the car the more power it will add.

If I get the magnum cylinder head, I'll have to get a header that fits the magnum to go on my car. I don't think my pacesetter will fit. I'm not sure but I think I'll have to get an intake manifold that fits the magnum too b/c the porting pattern is different on the exhaust and intake.
If I get the Indy, I want to be able to keep it on the car in the future even if I decide I want to add a magnum head.

I would go with the magnum head. Its gonna be easier to do the head while you are doing the cam and valve springs. the Indy is just a bolt on, it would be easier to do later.
