Default Lowering Springs

Correct me if I'm wrong, putting in lets say Ebach lowering spring is a direct swap right? ~$200 and that's it right? No other costs? Someone told me that I would have to get new shocks? Is this true? Someone make this clear to me...

if you get the eibach prokit, yes, it is just a direct swap. on the other hand, if you get the eibach sportline, rumor has it that your shocks and struts can't handle that ride heighth, in which case they would need to be replaced. i'm probably getting my pros in about a week or so. i'll keep you posted.

You don't need anything other then the springs for the pro kit, but sooner or later you will have to replace your struts. Probably well before you would have to on the stock springs. But you should be good for awhile.

I'd personally like to know how your ride feels afterwards. I'm still not sure what kit i'm getting, nothing more than a 1.5" drop thats for sure.
Lemme know!

I have the Eibach Pro-System on my Stratus. It's a lot lower then the stock ride height, and I am most likely due for new struts soon. The car has about 51,500 miles on it. The

The Pro Kit will indeed kill your factory stock struts/shocks, but they were never designed for that kind of load.

I will recommend that if you are indeed going to do the Pro-Kit one....that you seriously look into new struts/shocks at the same time.

The Pro System is definitely one I'd recommend.

Eibach Pro System

I would agree with that. I have the pro kit on mine as well. Been on there for about 28,000 miles. Struts are still okay. But if you can do it I would get new struts at the same time.

Has anyone used the Mopar lowering springs? They only lower the car 1", but from what I've been reading, they won't kill your struts, and the ride is still good.

Where would u find the Mopar springs? What year Neon is it for?

As far as the Eibach Pro Kit, how is the ride on regular struts?

I'm looking at them for my 05 SXT. The part number is P4510460. If you just do a search in Yahoo for that part number, you'll come up with some cool web sites, or you can buy them from any Dodge dealer.

I looked on the Dodge Mopar website recently. Dodge will charge $250. I just noticed that the mopar catalog has expanded for the parts for the reg. Neons. I'll see if I can find it cheaper somewhere else.
