first of all im not too good in english, im from québec (montreal) if anyone speak french let me know!

ok i buy a srt exhaust on ebay and install it on my neon 03 sxt. when i started the engine i realise that it sound VERY LOUD! really too much for me. i used before my r/t exhaust and switched to put a little bigger tips for my mopar body kit. if you ask the question yes we cutted the srt exhaust 2 inche both side to make it fit.

my question is what can i put on the exhaust line in the middle of the car. i just want a little bit more sound from my r/t

i hear about resonator muffler and all that but i really dont know what i exactly need...

if you can help me will be really apreciated thx alot !

ps. can we post picture from our car i want to send you a picture from the finall look!

 

if you want u can keep the srt exhaust on but id put 2 resonators after the cat. it should quiet it down a bit.

whats goin on i just installed a header test pipe and a full srt catback and its really really loud just put resonators in

 

witch size and brand of resonator i need?

 

I have a srt exhaust on my 2004 sxt had it without anything including resonators got stopped by a few small town cops then added the stock 2 resonators still was stopped then added a glasspack muffler tamed her down and has a cool sound but not loud like she use to . Paid 80 bucks installed for the glasspack muffler.

This is just a quick install vid of the resonator (cherry bomb) being installed in the mid pipe.

This is a vid of idle and rev with both the cherry bomb and the srt rear section. The cherry bomb made it a hell of alot deaper sounding and took away all the raspyness.

can you drive normaly on the highway without having to much sound in the car?

no prob on the bad english. I just recently married a canadian... she could translate if i was at home posting.

Once the resonator/glasspack is installed you do not have that drone on the highway. It will be louder than stock, but no where close to what yours sounds like now.
