I have a 2004 Neon SXT that is completely stock right down to the P185/60R15 tires. Does anybody know if it is possible to put P205/60R15’s on the stock factory mags (6” width) on the back of the car and have enough clearance with the bottom of the plate holding the spring on the struts. I have carefully measured this and it seems like they should fit with about 1/8” to spare. Anybody tried this before?
The reason I want the 205/60's is because I want to put white lettered tires on the car - 185/60 or 195/60 on the front and the biggest I can fit on the back and the BFG Radial T/A's I want do not come with RWL's on the 205/55's. I know the old "white-letter-smaller-on-the-front-bigger-on-the-back-tire" thing is a bit out of style but I still like it.
ok, so I have a 05 dodge neon and i am running 215/40/17" tires, so i dont see why 205/60/15" wouldnt fit... Just as long as the tire does not exceed too far past the width of the rim it should be fine. My 17" rims are about 7.5" deep, so im sure that the stock 15's should be able to fit no problem.
Will stock SRT-4 rims fit on a 05 Neon SE tiresize is stock 205/50/17? The spring plate is rubbing tires...has any one been able to work around this problem. [:-]
