Default Intake installation!!!!!!

I got an ebay CAI with K&N filter....now i m trying to install the system. I was looking for the direction or any kind of instruction that can help me...i searched the forum and i found the K&N CAI installation instructions http://www.kandn.com/instructions/174047.pdf. I was looking at the part lists for K&N CAI system on that page and found out that i don't have Bracket "F" Throttle and Bracket "F" Radiator. Is there any way to install without them? did anyone installed ebay CAI without it? Please help me!!!

Your probably did not get those or an equivelent. You either should fabricate your own or live without. Did you get the mounting point shown where it goes through the body? If not then you will probably have a vibration issue. Best of luck

I bought an ebay cai aswell, but mine came with a welded one peace bracket on the intake pipe which went on one of the battery nuts that hold down the tray for the battery. You could install it for shure, but make sure to tighten up everything because without the bracket, the throttle body will just be jumping around, worse if your car is dropped.

Simple, just get a filter for the endo of the hose and you then have filtered air for the pcv system just like normal. Not a problem at all. Just have it filtered to keep dirt our of th crankcase.

Have a good time.
