It was a mistake made by a shop. The car owner in no way wanted it installed on his intake.

Quick note....With a K&N Typhoon w/the filter charger cover you get a nice little suck/squack noise when you first get on the throttle, kind of cool without trying to be a poser[8D]

the intake on my car has kinda a turbo whistle sound....but that wasnt intentional.....when i get the rest of the turbo parts then i can actually hear a real BOV

YeA mY K&N does that , if you floor it from a stop and then let it off real quick it makes a quick sucking sound that sounds mildly turboish lol....
