Subwoofers and amps what do you all have in your neons?
I apologize, my head unit is not the CQ-C3433U, but a fairly similar Panasonic head unit. In the manual for my head unit it specifically said that it only works with Panasonic CD changers. It would seem logical to me that this would be the same for all. I believe my head unit is the CQ-C5301U, a higher model, so if it doesn't work the OEM changer I would doubt yours would.
i see... well then what do you suggest? for a head unit.... and i was thinking about a lanzar amp specifically this one http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?model=HTG244 but im not sure.... pretty much im highly considering these subs: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1138084656549 maybe not from best buy but i didnt feel like looking all over for a link so yea... so if u have a better amp in mind that will power those subs, and 6.5" Polk db650's in the front and 6"x9" kicker ks693's in the front..... so if anyone actually has some suggestions i'd love to hear them as i'd like to do this soon....
The two problems I see with those subs is that 1) I couldn't find a brand name on the page anywhere, I'm worried they're just crap; and 2) it's a bandpass enclosure. Proper bandpass enclosures are BIG, so with a properly built bandpass enclosure for dual 12"s, you won't have any trunk space. For the most part, a sealed enclosure is your best bet. It sounds good, it's small, and it is much more forgiving on your subs if not perfectly matched to them. An improperly matched bandpass or vented enclosure is a good way to shorter your sub's life span. You can check out my enclosure here https://dodgeforum.com/m_556702/tm.htm. It takes up very little trunk space and sounds great. I made this one myself but I believe that GroundControl can make you custom enclosures.
About the amp, I've never heard about Lanzar before. Not saying it's bad, but that I really don't know.
The head unit...I think it's possible to get adapters that will allow your head unit to control the OEM changer. I looked into it a while back but never did it, I can't remember any details, hope that helps.

That bandpass is made by "Dual" I saw one of those a few years back at car toys (12in and 10in models). I got into the room and listened to them and they were horrible. Didnt hit hard whatsoever. Has anyone heard bazooka raw woofers? Im thinkin jl is the best so far but they cost a pretty penny lol.

i was thinking more along the lines of the Panasonic CQ-C3433U, or something that has the ability to control the stock CD changer........but thanks for the offer... so pretty much all i need is an amp that will power the subs that i gave the link to before.....

I like the factory system in my 2005 Neon just fine. It's clear as a bell, has lotsa bass, and is painfully loud if cranked-up. If you go with a bigger sound system I hope you don't play it too loud or you'll go deaf. It's also advisable to use a smaller sub-woofer so if someone you annoy shoves it up your *** it won't hurt as much.

I make a point to always turn my music down if I'm slowing down or stopping in a residential area. It's never bad enough to be a huge nuisance anyways, but no one wants to hear a thump while your car is stopped near their house for 5 minutes while you're waiting for a friend, or just listening to the end of a song. Whatever you do with your sound system, use it responsibly. Don't wreck your ears, you'll regret that, and don't be an *** and **** everyone off with your constantly loud, thumping bass.
i have two infinity 10s in mine, sounds good, with the matching 6x9, and door speekers, the tens are powered by a 500 watt amp. the hole set up is crystal clear, no vibrations, but i think that is the 500 dollars in dynomat i put in it to
