Are the brakes on my 04 R/T the same as the SRT-4? I'm trying to locate a set of SS brake lines for my car and there's a suggestion that they don't make them for the post 99 R/T. I'm sure that there is a set available for this car but there are so few of these that it's not identified specificly for it. Any help would be appreciated.
Ah but would the brake lines work? How are they diffent? If the SRT has larger brakes then I would assume that somone has tried to swap these onto a non -srt car. If someone has been sucessful I would like to know what kind of car they have and if they had to replace their brake lines. If they didn't I may be able to get the SRT stainless braided lines for my 04 R/T. Has anyone put SS lines on an ACR from 01 or 02? I'm convinced these would work for my car as well.
Thanks
Thanks
Sorry, I ask too many questions in a single post. Do you mean the SRT lines will not fit, or the ACR lines will not fit? Why?

srt won't but acr should but I am pretty sure they have the same lines as the r/t's never got too look at a acr that closely

why do you need to upgrade the brakes? Your brake system should be more than well off for anything you could do. If anything... you prolly should upgrade the calipers and rotors. why replace the whole system?

Possibly a little off topic, but does anyone know where I could pick up what I need to convert my rear drums to discs? The junkyards in my area don't have much and they charge an arm and a leg for what they do have.

I would try ebay, i've seen SRT-4 disc brakes on their on several occasions. As for the SS brake lines, i believe Goodridge makes them for the 2.0 Neon, but you have to buy them directly from the company, no one carries them, but they do make them for our cars. The SRT-4 SS lines will not work because the fittings are different.
