Default My new toy...

well i went ahead and ordered an RB1 Navigation system for my car, and it finally arrived today. The install was very easy, and it only took me 20 minutes to finish the job completely. Now i just need to read up on how to control all the features this thing has...

Heres the only pic i have of it so far, my camera died so i was only able to take one shot...

Looks to me like you might have to angle your head to see it...

If i actually want to stare at the map while i'm driving you have to look down a little, but its not too bad, i guess it would depend on your height...but it has voice prompts so you dont really need to look down to use it.

I bought it off the Mr.CD1 store on Ebay for $575...i think the dealer charges twice that, but its brand new, came with all the required hardware and the updated DVD-ROM software...all in all, this thing is awesome!

Well i took my first trip with the RB1, and i must say its worth every penny...inputing your destination is very simple, and the "Turn by Turn" voice prompts (and on-screen pictures) are more accurate than i would have imagined. Plus, if you make a wrong turn (which is nearly impossible, but i managed it once) the route is adjusted to get you to your destination from your location. You also have features like ETA, which on my four hour trip was only off by 6 minutes at the end.
