RE: Gas mileage update, what are you getting?
Hey yeah put only 87 in it at the most. It will give you horrible gas mileage if you use premium. It even says in the owners manual not to use anything over mid grade cause it will drasticly drop your gas mileage. just thought youd like the heads up. By the way I love the gas prices droopping. Hopeing by next year it might only cost 10 dollars to fill up from E. Heres hopeing.

I've got a 2004 Dodge Intrepid XST that I was getting 17 mpg city and about 25 highway. I started using a product called "Ethos FR" and my mileage went up to 19.5 city, 27 mpg highway. Not a huge jump, but it helps! You can get a bottle of the stuff from http://www.ctsavegas.com.

Well I did some rough math to see if the "Ethos FR" would be worth it. And figuring on the cost of the stuff, the Neon's fuel efficiency, and using the approximate gains from the Intrepid, you would get an extra quarter mile per dollar from your car using the "Ethos FR". This obviously is by no means scientifically tested, but I don't know if it would really be worth bothering for me. Some more rough math tells me that if you drive 10,000 miles in a year, you will save $25.

wah....all u got over 26mpg.
my 2000 plymouth neon only gets 21 mpg. (remember, it's mixed with highway and local.)
the car has damage from the 1st owner. but still a clean title.
i dunnno if it affects the mpg.
i didnt do much on the car. so for the next couple tank, i will do the treatment, and parts changing to see if it can reach 28.

Timplett,
I think your savings from using Ethos FR vary based on your car's mileage/condition. My Intrepid only has 28,000 miles on it. I read through some of the testimonials and some people with high mileage cars are seeing a mileage increase of over 30 percent! Before I tried the product I did some digging on the manufacturer's website and they had the following savings chart, for what it's worth:
http://www.ethosfr.com/ProveitYourse...fficiency.html
You'll want to look at the second table, as the first one is for the one gallon size.
