yeah i know what you mean. Especially since i am going to college in two years and I will probably have to take out some loans for that so it wise not to get a loan to pay for the turbo. Hopefully between saving from work, birthdays, and Christmas i can save enough for the turbo as fast as possible. Does anybody know how much it is on average for a dyno shop to tune the car? I was thinking about asking my neighbor where he goes to dyno his camaro SS and then i could maybe tune it there once i get the turbo but i don't know how much they will want to tune it

 

depends on what kind of tune you want, i am getting mine street tuned, that is about 150, but after that i am going to pay the extra 30 for one pull on the dyno, so i know what numbers i am putting to the road..... if i where you i would just put a kit together yourself, it is really not that hard to do, if you have a paypal acount you can save i would guess about 2000, i am going to have about 2500 in my kit. but that includs my clutch to.... but i got lucky i got most of my kit from a kid that had a turbo on his saturn. i got the manifold, turbo, fuel management system, fuel pressure reg, ect. that is what i would do if i where you build it on a budget build and it will save you alot and you can also learn from it to.......good luck
