I've been looking around at racing seats, they will be a future investment as the Neon's seats provide hardly any side support. eBay has many listings for a pair of brand new leather racing seats for $150 or less. At that kind of price I'm really worried about their quality. Does anyone have experience with any of the cheap eBay racing seats?

 

well my boy bought a pair for his civic, the bottom piece faded with the friction of moving, jeans and rough clothin, so its up to u, never talkled to other ppl that has bought them of ebay. good luck

 

What about the seat itself? Is it solid? Is it comfortable to sit in? Because for $150 a pair even if I have to get them reuholstered with some good leather afte 6 months it's still cheaper than buying brand name seats at $500 each.

 

if you want better support you could try to find seats from an r/t

 

I was hoping for a full leather racing seat. If it means $500 a piece for Corbeaus or Sparcos so be it, but I don't want to get one only to end up having to get the Sparcos anyways.

 

just get seas out of an srt because those are exactly the same seats u just described leather and great side support

where can u find srt4 seats? and will they fit into a 02 neon rt?

 

you can find em at a salvage yard but you might have to look around for one.... or ebay, sometimes a dealership has them but they always run the price up..... and as for the fit... .not sure if they will but if they wont you could make yourself some custom brackets if you have any welding skill or maybe hit up a local shop to make some for ya or if you get lucky enough and find an SRT-4 in a salvage yard just take the seats and brackets, oh and dont forget to take the motor too hahahahaha well anyways good luck
