Default ? on aftermarket taillights

I know alot of people here might not like this style, black/red LED taillights.. ebay auction # 200037916520
But I kinda do,...one guy at work said to watch out for some of the ones on e-bay,.. they don't have good seals and moisture can get in and you get that condensation fog on the inside. Anyone see these before or hear of trouble?

i have those and theyre gorgeous never had a problem with them. i got them from modernperformance for 150 so if it comes to around there you might want to buy from modern. i have a black car and thats the first thing that people compliment me on, but im sure it will look sick with a red car. you could always black out your tails that looks cool too

you do have to check the seal, if it looks good then its not a problem. You should buy them if you like them. Tons of people have them with no problems. Just be sure to check it once you get it to make sure that the seal is good. Its no big deal, you can just get a new seal for it from a parts store if it IS bad.

I got mine off ebay and before i put them in on my car i put a thin layer of silicone around some of the little holes just to be on the safe side. Since then I have been water and moisture free. I didnt get the same ones you did but Im on the same subject.

yea i have had that problem with mine. Whenever it rains moisture gets in it and fogs up the tail light. I had to get a new seal for it and now its fine. I have the carbon fiber ones. Just be careful where you buy them from.

If those are real DEPO tailights, which they appear to be, you shouldnt have any seal problems...i do like the look of them on some Neons but i think its all dependant on the color of the car there on...should look nice on yours though.
