Default side marker lenses

Have any of you changed the stock side marker lenses to clear side marker lenses on the front bumper?

Do they just pop out of there? What's the easiest way to convert? Is there any website that sells them with installation instructions? I haven't found one yet. Just needed some help.

Thanks everyone.

You have to take them out from the back side of the bumper. Meaning that you'll either need to access them from underneath or you may have to pull back the plastic wheel well cover to get them. I think you need to pull back the plastic wheel well cover, which is only a screw or two. From there there is a really thin black piece of metal, kind of in a "C" shape I believe that you have to pull off. And then the side markers will just pop out. Reverse that and thats how they go in. Sorry about the not so great directions....I installed mine well over a year ago. Its pretty simple though.

2 questions, LoSlow...
Did you use yellow bulbs or claer bulbs, once u changed the lens? or do u have to use yellow bulbs? (I.E. local laws...)

Also had an idea, if one were to install some driving or fog lights, could these be tied into the side lights? in other words, the left one tie into the left marker light, and the right tied into the right marker, for power. Or would this probably over load the parking light circut?

Yea, I got my clear side marker lenses off of eBay.

Search them, I've seen them a lot of places and actually mine were in an APC box.

This is on eBay:
00-05 the Item number: 200039129657
(this is the seller I got them from, fast shipping too out of CA!)

This is for the 95-99 dodge neons
Item number: 300041226988

Hope that helps!

Check your local law. Around where I live they can be amber or white colored bulbs. I have white leds in my side markers. But it varies from state to state. Your second question, I don't know.

I was wondering though, did you take off the wheel well or what? You say you "felt around" but how'd you get your hand back there????

You can reach under it I believe. But I think when I originally did it I pulled the wheel well cover back a little bit. But I'm pretty sure you can reach from below.
