that my friend, is up to you. I, personally, have fallen in love with the neon (HAHAHAHAHA FUNNY!!!), and it has served me well with no problems at all.

There is a wonderful thread in the first gen forum called "the tao of a neon," give it a read (enlightening and spiritual!).

I, personally, would stick with the neon. Once again, it is not my choice. My reasoning is as follows:

1.) You just rebuilt a neon's entire front end and probably some engine comps... Why not keep what you have done...
2.) Neons can be quick... they just need some effort, some elbow greese, some cash, and a good owner.
3.) Older cars need more work done to it. Sadly a car won't run great forever even with a good owner. Finding out that you found this "name car here" for cheap and with 100,000 miles only to find out it needs 10k + to get it running properly! This doesnt just relate to the engine... it could involve taking care of rust you cant even see.

anyways, like i said, it is NOT my car... so there ya go. Also, imo, you just rebuilt that neon so why not keep it!?

My friend has an 89 supra and one of his friend has an 89 turbo supra, both are slow, both are ugly, and both cost WAY TO MUCH TO MAINTAIN, my friend has droped 6,000 for the car and 14,000 on a complete rebuild, and turbo one has spent about 15,000 total and it's not the greatest thing in the world.

just looking out for you here, neon=good daily driver, spura=not that fast for a street racing car, i know you can find better

Personally I don't like that Supra model; it's also almost 20 years old. I like the newer body style. Good luck on your engine.
