Not only are the 00-05 hoods the same... they're all made of steel. Unlike the rest of the car, which is mostly aluminum and plastic (skin and bumpers respectively), the hood will rust in areas where it has been scratched or where paint was removed.

As for SRT hoods, I think theres a mod where you extend the hinge joints outwards about a half inch so the hood fits snug. Im thinking about gettin one just for the hood scoop.

Hmm, that hood is nice but I've heard bad things about carbon fiber.
Things about the sun and the rain ruining the finish, is that true?
