the tires wont fit....a 45 series will rub a little.....50 series will rub alot...
when i got my rims they still had the stock srt tires on them, i wanted to put them on the car to see what they would look like....in order to do so, i had to let all the air outta them and then kick em' on

you wont have very much rubbing when turning since you will hardly be able to get the car to move....

the srt tires are 205's and s05's wont rub anything when turning......as stated, the height is what will kill ya....
at one point i had 215/60-14's on my car and they didnt rub at all

i really wouldnt reccomend spacers.....a friend of mine had some on his grand am with some 17's....it was only a couple hours later that all the studs on one wheel broke and the tire passed him when he was goin down the road

 

i have 205/45 and they dont rub at all. they fit great

 

well im thinking of a wider tire....put some 215/45's on there and see if it rubs then

 

I actaully ran close that tire size for about 2 years I run 215/40/17 there is about a 3/4inch clearence between the tire and strut perch

ive always used 215/40's...until i got my srt4 wheels, then i got 205/40's since the rims are so narrow

 

they may be kinda big. id be concerned about rubbing and offset. tirerack.com has a size comparison tool, but someone already mentioned the speedo would be off and they would be too big.
