SRT vs. appearance package (visual differences???)
All I know is that they were doing I'd say way above average with the 03-05 neons by the way they looked, plus they had the srt-4 and I guess dodge decided that had to mess something up and threw this pos body design on there. oh well 9 outta 10 ain't bad I guess.
All I want to know is whether the hood is the exact same one which they use on srt-4's which would make sence for production purposes, but if it is the same as the sxt/se/r/t versions that would be awsome, for a future swap possibility. I actually can't remember if there is a company that makes a hood for the sxt/se/rt versions thats exactly like the srt-4 oem one and actually fits perfectly with our cars. Or is there even a carbon fiber one, other than the vented style srt-4 one on modernpeformance?

The sxts look way better than the fake srt design as they call it . At least more people like the sxt than the srt design . See more sxts around than the srt designs .

I think what 04MoNeon is trying to get at is if he bought a SRT-D hood if it would fit on his car. I dont know thats just what I think. hehe
and does the MO in your name stand for missouri? and if so what part do you live in?

I bought my '05 srt-designs neon in August of '05, I wanted the real deal but $$ was the issue at the time and when I saw the "fake" srt I got interested. It looked pretty much the same other than the bumpers, seats, steering wheel, wheels, trans, abs and well the turbo.
I paid $15,000 for it new and so far it does the job, just not as fast but I do like the car itself.
I have yet to see another one like it on the road, and I think that is why I bought it.

The SRT-D bumper looks like ****. That's all there really is to it.
I think by far the SRT fascia is better looking any than gen of neon.
Obviously.
