Well 0-60's are pretty much irrelevent but a normal 2nd Gen R/T-ACR will run the 0-60 in about 7.3-7.5 seconds and the quarter mile in 15.9 seconds or so.

i have to disagree with this, my buddy has a 00 jetta VR6 and it is very fast even stock. a neon is absolutely no match for it. now he has an ebay cai and he is pretty quick on the highway. ofcourse i beat him from just about every mph roll on the highway but dont underestimate the jetta vr6

The documented numbers would say differently. The wieght alone is a reason towards this, a stock ACR weighs in at around 2600lb at the curb and the Jetta VR6 wieghs in at 3200lb at the curb...I'm not saying an R/T-ACR would beat the VR6, but it would by no means be "no match".

agreed 03neonrt, power to waite ratio are roughly the same in the acr, and rt, depending on how the car is set up, performance wise, if it is a stock jetta gti, then i would say it will be closer than people think, but if the gti has mods, and you dont, forget it......Put a turbo on the acr, that would solve this post

i have a friend that has a gti with a turbo setup in it, all i have to say if F*CKING NASTY!!!!!
