Picked this up last weekend for $2500. Needed an economy car due to selling my POS '01 Chevy Cavalier.

'01 R/T 2.0 H.O. 5-speed, leather, sunroof plus everything else, need to clean the interior yet but it's perfect aside from some slight wear on the drivers seat. Needs a couple little things, but it's a pretty solid car.

 

I am 43 and have been a Ford girl all my life till mine left me stranded. Traded it in the day after I got it fixed for my new Baby B. I have never love a car so much. I think I got 20 years younger when I drove off the lot with my 2003 Canary Yellow Dodge Neon SXT

 

Welcome both of you and log very nice lookin red r/t nice find. ANd babybmommy Im 37 and love my 04 black sxt they are very nice and yeah neons do sort of make you feel younger seeing most of the young ones own neons.

 

howdy ya'll .... well I picked up my first Dodge a couple of weeks ago and lets just say I'm starting to love this lil thing ...

It's a 2004 Neon STX, 5 spd ... It's all stock for the time being but within the next few months I'm going with a mostly body mods.

All your mods sound nice and seeing its black I would tint the sides and tails and 3rd brake light and black out the grill inserts. Seeing its already has tinted windows mise well black out everything. I would also get some black housing headlights from ebay. welcome tator todd.

That's a short list of everything that's getting done. I've been looking for blacked housing headlights and blacked out tail lights. I've found a smoked 3rd brake light and still looking smoked or clear side markers. I've been debating on red wheel well LED's for something different. Also upgrading the ignition. As for the body I'm thinking CF trunk lid and CF SRT-4 wing, but still in the air whether or not to keep it clean look ..

 

I think a pvo molded cf trunk would look nice and actually cheaper than cf trunk and cf srt wing .You can find some smoked sides not tinted on ebay that will go very nicely with some black housing headlights and you can also get some either smoked clk taillights or black led taillights. I would get some black paint and paint your grill inserts black I did that to mine but now dark red.

 

I headed out to Dodge dealer and came across a stage 2 SRT and talked with the guy for a little bit. He had a set LED tail lights with black housing which my girl agreed to so I figure I'll be headed with those. About the PVO molded cf trunk, I've only caught pictures of it from a looking up view. DO you have any from all all angles so I can get a better look at it?

 

No I dont but you can find alot of pics of it on srt forums or 2nd gen forums seeing theres alot of srt guys with the cf molded pvo winn trunklid. Yeah I have some black led tails that I tinted this yr with some black housing halo projector headlights on my black 04 sxt .
