Introduce Yourself Here!
Thanks guys! I was a car guy a long time ago, and i've forgotten how much fun they are, but it's a great little car to bomb around town in! I think my wife may even let me mod it a little, but mostly interior stuff for now, just to personalize it, but I can see myself getting a little carried away with it, especially since we hope to keep it around for our son to drive as his first car... The salesman told me it was actually a pretty rare model to get a hold of, but I honestly had no idea?? Is this a good jumping off point for a good project?

Hello gentlemen. My name is Alan, and I just recently acquired a 2005 Neon SXT with 58,000 miles. It was purchased new by my sister who passed away last year. It has 99% highway miles as it was only driven to her work, which was about 20 miles each way down the interstate. It was never driven on weekends or taken on a trip. It's like brand new. I live in Key West,Florida and the car was in Knoxville,Tennessee, so rather than drive it that distance, without it having been tested I had it shipped by auto transport. It just arrived, and it's a real beauty. I will post some pics ASAP.
I am a real car guy, but my first love has always been Saabs
. I have a completely restored 1992 C900 and a1995 NG900.
But now I also have the 95 Neon, which my sister loved so much, that I want to take excellent care of it. That is where maybe you guys can help. I'm sure I will be on here asking all kinds of questions. Thanks for listening( or reading).

I joined this forum because my girlfriend has a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT with about 80k miles on the odometer. Its automatic. Has an aftermarket head unit with bluetooh, infinity sub and viper remote start. Everything else is stock for now. Just about every week for the past month or two something else seems to go bad so now I'm on here looking to do a major tune up. Here are a few pics for viewing pleasure.

Hi, My name is Scott, I live in Lake of the Woods Virginia, married 3 kids 2 dogs etc......I have an 03 Neon SXT for my daily commuter and my first Neon. I am a Dodge guy although...I have a 94 Viper R/T 10 and an 03 Ram 1500. The Neon is a lot more fun than I would have guessed! but as I can't leave anything alone....the mods have begun. Starting with a flowmaster catback and K&N cold air kit, projector hid headlights (stock just doesn't cut it!) M3 side mirrors with turn signals, now looking to add a small shot of nitrous for that extra little kick. you seem to have a great forum here thanks for that!
Just purchased a 2005 Neon SXT with 140K miles on it for a daily work commuter. Miles were high so I got them down to $3000 out the door for it. Gonna start browsing these forums to see what to expect and what advise is out there.
