i personally love mothers products to clean my paint, and you can never go wrong with a good old carnuba turtle wax.
as far as fog lights i would honestly either look in a junk yard... depending on your budget, or just head up autozone. had a friend with a neon and thats where he picked some new fogs up for his car.
oh btw im new to the forum i have a 1999 1500 st 4x4,
david

Newbie from Mexico
Hi there.
I just was checking internet information about Neons and I decided to register in this forum. There is a huge quantity of useful information I have to read in order to troubleshoot fast, reading codes meanings or make some temporary fixes to road to my home.
My name is David I'm 30 and I live in Mexico. I recently got a '05 Manual Neon SE sold by the dealer here. I have certain problems with the shifting cables and the OEM stereo. If I'm writing something that it should be removed to another forum, please tell me.
I have read that the selecting problems would be the bushings in the selector cables so I will need some help to do it myself. It seems not really difficult to do...
The other problem with my stereo unit (RBK) is that every single time I start the car the stereo makes a "buzz" noise, like something in the eject mechanism is stuck. When I put a CD on it, it takes a little while the stereo can read it but finally it does it.
The "resume play disc" function is wrong. While I drive the car, park it, then I move again, the stereo marks an "error" and eject the CD, when the correct function resumes the music when the car is started again. What could be wrong with this stereo? I'm thinking in replace it with an aftermarket unit with adapters and all the necessary stuff because the sound quality of the RBK units is really poor IMO.
I hope I have written in an understandable and natural way guys.
I love Neons and I hope to have an SRT-4 someday...
Nothing against other brands but Mopar or no Car.
Peace!
