so i have a vibrant front strut bar, i am wondering about the bolts that connect the brackets to the bar, do i tighten those until i cant tighten them anymore, so that the bar cant pivot or is it meant to pivot? i'd like to install it today but im not sure what to do about those bolts...
Technically I think they are 25 ft-lbs. They are tight enough if you just install them and tighten the bolts as best you can. If the strut bar doesnt move when you grab it and pull on it, your good.
i posted this in the other strut bar thread, but it might be useful to ya:
igot ebay ones, no isues except it snapped the bottom of both my washer fluid nozzels, as they stuck down just a bit too far and came into contact with the bar each time i shut the hood. this was a simple fix by getting some cheap LED nozzels at autozone. (which i have yet to hook up)
