My first race was when i raced my buddy's ford zx2 atx. We were at a light i got him about 4 car lengths before i let off. I had a CAI and dual exhaust that was pretty much it. One night i was 3 blocks from my house and a late 90's eclipse (sound and looked modded) came rolling up reving his motor wanting to race. My turn was coming up so i wasnt going to bother so i hit the gas just to make him jump. he flys past me as i turn into my street when a cop on the corner turns on his blue and red lights and pulls him over lol. i dont race much sometimes the occaisnal cat and mouse game in traffic

 

i ran a v6 firebird with five people in my car and 2 12' subs in a heavy *** box and outrun him twice... those cars really have no power

 

all of those cars on my list that beat me before will soon go down to the beaten list when i get my Evo IX RS next fall. except for the 500hp subaru lol.

 

cars that have beat me.. my cousins V6 stang.. ( was pretty close.. i expected much more from a mustang)
ford excape V6 atx ( pretty much even until 60mph ) scion TC mtx and atx ( the manual took the **** out of me, the automatic beated me by 2 cars ) galant v6 atx... ( i jumped ahead but he pass me at 65mph)..

thats all i remember.. otheer cars ive beated... my bro's 1.8 sentra atx ( he jumps ahead but at 4000rpm of first gear i pick him up and the rest is history) scion XB mtx ( jumped ahead but as soon as he shifted to 2nd i beated him for about 1 1/2 cars) from a roll.. ( he is still trying to count how many cars would fit between us) honda accord L4 non vtech.. (pretty easy)

one of my favorite loses was against i believe to b a 03 Blk Neon R/T( my car being stock at dat time). he was behind me and reved his engine. so i accept. well since i had a car head start, i thought i would win, well he came from behind and past me. i had my friend in da passenger and i scared da **** out of her. well ever since i got performance in my car i want to challeng him, well not right now i got more parts coming in, but i would like to race him again one day. hes my white whale. I will get u White Trash Racing, ( his decal on da car)

 

My friend had an Integra and I beat him (he had an auto). My car was stock.
Other friend had a Civic SI (an older model with the flip up lights). I've beat him by about 3 car lengths from a stop. I had a few mods.
This one had mods>>>I raced a Mazda Protege Mp3 (he left me when I was behind him). As far as my engine I had basic bolt-ons (intake, header, cat-back exhaust & afx udp).
Another Mazda mp3 which I kept up with (I think I had my basic bolt-ons along with the AFX race Pcm then).
Acura RSX type S: We were rolling at about 65mph then we hit it. He beat me by about a car plus. I think we raced to about 90. My mods to my engine were intake, exhaust, afx udp, 60mm TB if I remember correctly.

I still haven't raced anyone with the addition of my Recently installed list. My car is getting worked on. I did drive it though; I like it.

 

pre turboed at the track..lost to a accura integra DOHC vtech, the a bottle, lost to him by 4 tenths, i was happy, he had to push a buton to push by me.....lol, a defete but i think a respectable one...

 

howmuch it cost change my 05 neon from atx to stick

 

my best race had to be against my dad (hes got a heavier foot than me) in an '05 v8 triton f150... surprised the hell outta me. think it was only cuz mines a manual his an auto.

 

Depends on which transmission (3.55 or 3.94 and which year/how many miles) you go with really...average cost I would say is probably around $1,000 maybe less.
