I just posted something about a scion tc but i was also wondering how my neon acr would compare to a tiburan GT? Are they fairly fast...how do they compare?

What's an "acr"? ..everytime I see it I think someone is mispelling "car"

no it wont... i've raced one with my 01 Neon... all i have is a CAI, lowering kit, and strut bar... and i whooped it.... they are slow as all he** the only reason many people think that it will win is b/c it is a V6.... well lemme tell you it seems like its only running at 3 cylinders if u ask me lol... and the kid was def. trying b/c you could hear the fart can on the back roarin' lol, the only way you would lose is prolly if they got a good jump on ya, or it has a FI system (Turbo/Super charger)....

 

Dont worry you will win without any trouble at all. "ACR" stands for "American Club Racer".

 

Acr is basically the same thing as an r/t. THey have the stock dual exhaust and come with the magnum engine just like the r/t. They are very rare because i think they only made a couple thousand of them.

 

Sort of correct. The main difference with the ACR is the Dynamic Suspensions dual adjustable inverted struts (probably some of the bests struts ever made) and lighter 15" wheels over the R/T. They also came without certain options (some with no A/C, power options, etc...) in order to reduce weight, it is meant as an autox car. In 2001 they made 439 ACR's and 3,893 R/T's. In 2002 they made 279 ACR's and 1,226 R/T's. In 2003 they didnt make any ACR's and made 1,420 R/T's. So both cars are very rare in comparison...

 

his right.. my cousins V6 stang beated one GT, and you know what would happen if you race a v6 stang.. i guess he wouldnt beat me by more that one car in my sxt atx .. so youll kick his ***.!

 

not bone stock. I have raced one.. stock for stock, and he whooped me.

The new gen Tibbies (especially the GT's) are too quick for our little cars.

Im racing him again here in a few short weeks...
