Is it possible to supercharge a neon????
At least for GM vehicles building supercharger kits is much cheaper than building a turbocharger kit.
If it is possible to supercharge a neon what parts would I need?

I did some fairly extensive searching and discovered that www.andysautosport.com has supercharger kits for the 03-up neon's made by VORTECH(????)! They are about $2,000 dollars or a little more and run 6-8 psi, slightly more than the Hahn stage 1 kit that costs $4,200.

actually, there is a supercharger that will fit a neon, im looking to switch to it. im tired of my turbo......eaton makes a supercharger for a neon......
you can get the entire SC kit for around 2k and if its installed and tuned rigth you can put more than 6-8 psi as long as your car is built to handle it......the salesman i talked to showed me a chart, and you can gain 50-75% hp to your wheels....
so, the way i see it is that yes, there is a way to supercharge a neon...and it isnt totally custom and you wont be the only one in the world with it.......

that is some of the best news i have heard all day! Will it run the 6-8 psi bone stock or will you need exhaust or anything else?
About that SRT-4 turbo spikey, the turbo might cost 2k but their is a lot more work involved than just that or I WOULD get an srt-4 turbo.

I think personally, turbo = imports/ tuners, supercharger = muscle/ really big engines. That vortech turbo is universal like mikey said and universal stuff isn't good.
