hi i was wondering if anyone has an idea of the pricing for getting windows tinted. i've seen estimates on here but i'm wondering if it costs more for the tints that have two shades...like i've seen some go from black to like a white or chrome color

 

Usually a basic tinting job (say 20%) will cost around $200 for five windows...not sure on the cost for the specialty tinting though...

 

I got mine for 160 but I got a discount because I'm their show car. I would say 180-240 for all five. Don't do the crazy colors because that looks tacky, just stick with black.

 

well i must admit i do kinda like the chrome tint in pics i've seen...just not sure how it'd look in the front windows since it has to be 25% i think

 

I've seen a trans am with like a light blue tint and had color match rims and it looked good at first but then looked bad. Also with the colors don't you put it on the outside of the window?

 

i paid 230 for a 20 tint just all black....u want a good tint..some places there tint whille change color to purple...just like anything else u get what u pay for

 

That's why you get a warranty, but on the chrome tint if you have pics, I might change my opinion.

 

i haven't found any good pics of the chrome ones online, but now i'm liking this black to blue tint i see on this guys neon: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2234763/3 My neon is white too so now i'm thinking i may get that...i just wonder what % tint it is in his front windows

 

I only paid $105.99 ($99.99 + tax) for 5 windows.. Got 5% in the back and 35% on the sides (CT legal). I got a lifetime warranty ontop of that... Came out real nice. He even tinted my tailights for $25 more.

Make sure they don't cut the back window tint in half when they do it.

 

i'm guessing the pic in your sig is before the 5% tint?
