Life Without...
Powersteering and A/C...
Well, I took off my PS/AC drivebelt and have been driving around (two tanks of gas) without it...the results?
My gas mileage has increased to 31mpg over my average of 27mpg, and my "estimated" quarter mile time has dropped .2 seconds to 15.5 (thats with a 1/4 marked off and a friend with a stop watch standing at the side of the road)...interesting eh?

That's cool. I've gotta have AC though. I'm in FLORIDA.
During this time that I've been getting my car worked on, my power steering went out. It's pretty rough for me. I wouldn't want to have to use too much energy in my Neon. I want to chill. Plus .2 seconds isn't much anyway.

Nah I would rather live in ignorance and say I "can" run a 15.5 in the 1/4 mile

Well there are a lot of people who would say that when they haven't actually raced it on a track. I don't care if it frees up a tenth or two, me not sweating my *** off is more important then the time. And no, I don't run on the track with my A/C on. LOL.
