Castrol GTX High Mileage 10w30 And a WIX filter

Used to be a FRAM guy for A LONG time. But ive done some research... And started using WIX filters on mostly everything. Almost went to the Motorcraft FL-1A for the ram recently. I never ran a Fram oil filter on my the ram tho (glad). Just in previous cars.

Only have used Mopar and WIX on the ram. Ive started using just WIX now tho....

i can get a 5 quart jug for 22 bucks, and it also hardly ever gets below 70 here. so the full syn. 0W-30 works fine. i normally run 10W-40 but for some reason it hard to get in a full syn. here.

Before I did the research, I got suckered in by the marketing and I'd always use Fram. What you don't know CAN hurt you!

Why so thin? Especially since you live in Florida?

well its not much thinner than 10w30, and the claim it meets or exceeds 10w30 standards, though i think next oil change im goin back to a 10w40 full syn. and possibly a wix filer, as im running a purolator
