Remember, you're trying to throw a 2¼ton brick down the road... it is not going to be "fast", unless you spend BIG$$ on big cubes and all the fruit.

The bolt-on's aren't going to get that performance.

Well...put it like this...I know that, and your 500 lbs light on that estimate, I'm 6,000 even without me in it. Despite all that...always been a good truck.

^^^ It's too bad you are not happy with it. It's a big truck but with your mod's it should still scoot right along.

It scoots just fine...I've had her eight years now and she's faster now than eight years ago so there is no arguing that. The big thing is I finally got the bump in torque I was looking for, the cam at least gave me back what I wanted in the first place.

I'm planning to switch to the Mopar airhat from a K&N CAI for the looks. I was wondering what size filters you guys are using in the 14x3 as it seems there's a million different sizes recommended for it.

For example it shows 12.5" x 2.75", 14" x 3", and 12.88" x 2.66", etc. I don't want the paper filter that comes with it so what size do I need?

14x3 would probably work pretty good.

Oh, I assumed 14x3 was the overall dimension of the assembly and you'd need a smaller filter. Thanks.

^ I picked up my Spectre 14x3 at AutoZone and the Mr. Gasket Kit at Advanced (AutoZone didn't have it)

Biggest thing, be sure to clean and OIL the filter, or it will rot into nothing....
